PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, one of the fastest growing core systems, bold technology, caring partner, is pleased to announce the 25th anniversaries of four of its business partners in 2021. These partnerships include Genesis Employees’ Credit Union, Latrobe Federal Credit Union, Natco Credit Union and Slippery Rock University Federal Credit Union. Sharetec is proud of how these mutually beneficial business relationships have blossomed, helping its clients thrive while enabling Sharetec to continually improve its innovative solution year after year.
Although unique financial institutions, these four credit unions had common threads that lead to their decision to implement Sharetec. Before selecting a partner, Genesis, Latrobe, Natco and Slippery Rock all realized that in order to stand out in a highly competitive market, they required an advanced core processing system with exceptional service. Their goal was to partner with a trusted company that would provide leading-edge technology backed by high-level support, enabling them to grow and meet the evolving needs of both current and future members.
Each credit union saw the Sharetec solution for what it is – a proven core processor with a long list of benefits. Remarkable features include a user interface that reduces training time and the need for daily support, as well as its ability to deliver an excellent ROI and lower cost of ownership. Overall, the solution would significantly improve functionality and efficiencies for both staff and members, giving them the critical edge that they needas well as friendly, reliable support when they need it.
Sarah Johnston, Manager, Latrobe FCU, feels fortunate to have been with Sharetec for 25 years. “When I speak with other credit unions, I find we do have exceptional reports and service. No matter what the problem, I know that when I call the help desk, I am going to have fast, friendly and accurate service,” she explained. “Everyone is so nice and willing to fix the problem to keep us running smoothly. I highly recommend Sharetec to any credit union—they are like family to us!”
Over the past 25 years, Sharetec has been a valuable partner to Natco CU as well. helping them grow and offer new products, services and technology to their members. Cindy Duke, CEO, Natco CU, noted, “From sales to support to programming, the Sharetec team provides excellent service. We appreciate that they stay current on new technology and partner with other companies so we can continue to meet the needs of our members.”
According to Lynne Griffith-Schall, CEO, Slippery Rock University FCU, Sharetec did a fantastic job of making the transition as seamless as possible when they moved to their new building last September. “There were no interruptions to our day-to-day operations and members didn’t experience any downtime,” she stated.
Many of the issues that these credit unions were struggling with remain relevant today. Mounting operational expenses, an inefficient paper-centric system, deficient support, lack of reporting capabilities, slow loan processing and sluggish membership growth can all cause a credit union to fall behind. Fortunately, Sharetec can resolve these issues and more.
“Our credit unions know how critical it is to stand out among their competitors,” stated Dan Miller, VP, Sharetec. “Our solution provides the functionality they need to address the issues that may be stunting their growth and help them rise above the competition. We are honored to support them by continually enhancing our product and services so we can better meet their evolving needs. I thank each of our long-term partners for contributing to our success as we help them move forward and achieve their goals.”
