At Sharetec, we pride ourselves on our willingness and ability to innovate and grow for our customers. We also recognize that harnessing career growth is an essential part of our success. Our former intern, Kendal Brager, is a great example of a team member who continues to develop and prosper at Sharetec!
Kendal started with Sharetec in May of 2023 as an intern in the Talent Department under the supervision of Human Resources. In early 2024, she transitioned to interning for the Customer Learning and Experience Team before being promoted to her full-time role within this department.
As an intern, Kendal helped with many large-scale and key projects within the Talent and Customer Learning and Experience teams, which set her up for success in this new role. Kendal was a key contributor to the coordination, planning, and execution of the 2023 Sharetec Users Conference in Savannah. No matter the task, including vendor sponsorships, registrations, signage, and name badges, Kendal hopped in to ensure that UC23 was a success (and is currently helping the team with UC24!). All of her experiences at Sharetec helped her gain insight and exposure to many different aspects of the company and how credit unions utilize Sharetec products.
With a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies and minors in Psychology and Organizational Leadership Supervision from Purdue University of Fort Wayne, Kendal is well-equipped with both educational and hands-on experience.
In her new role, Kendal will help Kari Rager and team lead the charge for the new Training Department (and all of the initiatives that come along with it!) Kendal is actively working on updating and creating training documentation, which will assist customers in utilizing Sharetec products effectively. This department will offer all Sharetec credit union customers of any size access to the training materials that best fit the needs of their long-term and new employees.
Kendal is excited about her new role because she’ll continue to work with Sharetec’s amazing customers. “It’s definitely my favorite part of the job. I love seeing the impact training can make on their everyday jobs and lives and partnering with credit unions to help them succeed.”
