Sharetec Community Agreements

We are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all conference attendees, vendor sponsors, and Sharetec staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, vendor sponsors, keynote speakers, and other exhibitors, are expected to abide by these Agreements.

Sharetec has zero tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment. If you experience any form of harassment or hear of any unacceptable or disruptive incidents, Sharetec asks you to inform Danielle Bucella, Director of Marketing, at dbucella@sharetec.com or (716) 361-5190 so we can take appropriate and immediate action.

Unacceptable or disruptive behavior is defined as:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any form, including sexual harassment
  • Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, exhibitor, staff member, event coordinator, or any other conference participant
  • Other socially inappropriate or unprofessional acts that will interfere with and prohibit others at the event from functioning normally

Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or presentations, or threatening or stalking (either in-person or digitally) any attendee, speaker, exhibitor, staff member, event coordinator or other conference participant.

Additionally, participants are asked to adhere to the following rules:

  • The recording and transmission of any workshop sessions/presentations, demos, videos, or content by attendees in any format is strictly prohibited, which also includes any conference-related materials sent to attendees post-event
  • Disruption of presentations during general sessions, breakout sessions, keynote speeches, demos, or content by attendees throughout the conference will not be tolerated
  • Attendees are not permitted to record or capture any portion of events or programming viewed, accessed, or otherwise facilitated or mediated

Sharetec reserves the right to take any necessary and appropriate action, including immediate removal from the conference without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior. Sharetec also reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future Sharetec events, both in-person and virtual.

Photo & Video Disclaimers

Sharetec will take photos and videos of attendees throughout the conference for Sharetec use, and these assets may appear on Sharetec’s social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), the website, Sharetec quarterly newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials. Videos, including testimonials, may also be shared with Sharetec prospects. Participants, exhibitors, and sponsors may also photograph and share photos of conference activities as long as the photos abide by the recording and transmission guidelines listed above. By attending the Sharetec Users Conference, you agree to the usage of your likeness in conference-related photos and videos.

Sponsors Attendee List Access

Through their generous support of the Sharetec Conference, select higher-tier sponsors may have access to a copy of the attendee list. The list includes the participant’s name, title, credit union of employment, and email address. You may receive communication from these vendor sponsors. To opt out of inclusion in this list, please contact kbrager@sharetec.com with “Sponsors Opt-Out” in the subject line.
