Position Overview:

The Head of Marketing will have responsibilities leading Sharetec’s brand awareness and lead generation engine. This role is US focused and will span all credit union segments. In the fast-paced and ever-changing financial environment, this person operates with flexibility, speed, and proactivity to develop, understand, and continually monitor our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). This person is revenue-focused, strategically inclined, accountable for ROI, and able to speak to C-Suite executives as easily as they speak to creative agency leaders.

Key Objectives / Deliverables:

Objective 1: Increase Brand Affinity

  • Lead the planning and execution of brand messaging and product marketing
  • Develop Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for each of our market segments and determine the best way to reach them
  • Work closely with the sales team to target brand awareness efforts in high opportunity areas
  • Develop measurement plan and track the impact of your teams’ marketing efforts on Sharetec’s brand awareness with its targeted segments
  • Increase brand awareness by 50% YoY in our key market segments

Objective 2: Lead Generation

  • Own and grow the top of the sales funnel for the organization – both in quantity and quality of leads
  • Coordinate with the Vice President of Growth to set measureable marketing plans that build pipelines and eventual deal closings that allow the organization to achieve revenue goals
  • Determine the best use of resources across events, conferences, Public Relations, website, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)/Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media, paid advertising, and content initiatives with a measurable ROI

Minimum Experience / Personal Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience
  • Strong leader – cultivates the potential in others
  • Data-minded approach with proven track record of establishing metrics and exceeding targets
  • Experience with multiple channel strategies
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a bias for action
  • “Strategic Operator” – proven ability to think strategically, plan, and execute
  • Able to work with flexibility and within ambiguity
  • Highly collaborative and proven strong team player with diverse teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Thirst for learning, solutions-oriented
